THE CARS - Greatest Hits Vinyl Lp New

THE CARS Greatest Hits (2023 UK/EU 12-track LP pressed on classic Black Vinyl. The most successful American new wave band of their era, The Cars built a sleek, mechanical sound from proto-punk, garage rock and bubblegum pop, and used itto turn out some of rock's most recognisable radio hits. This is where they all sit side by side: "Just What I Needed," "My Best Friend's Girl," "Let's Go," "Shake It Up," "You Might Think," "Magic," and "Drive," sung by bassist Benjamin Orr.They were still on top at Live Aid in 1985, where they played "Just What I Needed," "You Might Think" and "Drive." This 1985 compilation added one brand-new song, "Tonight She Comes," which went straight into the US Top 10, their fourth and last. The album went on to six-times-platinum status in the US, and every track was written by Ric Ocasek. Picture sleeve with hype sticker, factory sealed)
